Language, AI and communications
Eric van Hall
I help communications leaders, founders and teams work better with language, AI and ideas.
It often starts very practically. A story is not sharp yet. A team is using AI, but everyone is doing it differently. A presentation, article, workshop, newsletter, positioning or workflow needs to be made, but the core is still unclear.
That is where I am useful: listening, structuring, sharpening and making something you can move forward with.
What people ask me for
From a difficult story to something that works.
- Turning a complicated story into clear language.
- A keynote, talk or panel contribution about AI, communications and the changing role of people in knowledge work.
- Thinking through AI in communications, content or knowledge work.
- Designing a workshop or session that becomes concrete.
- Turning loose input into an article, presentation, briefing or plan.
- Making a recurring process smarter with AI, without losing the human eye.
- Building a prototype of an AI application, so you can quickly see whether an idea works.
What you get from me
I make things clear and usable.
I understand things quickly, but I do not like staying in talk mode. I want to know what is going on, who it is for and what has to happen next. Then I make it concrete.
My strength is the combination of writing, editing, AI, entrepreneurship and a feel for people. I often see quickly where a story gets stuck, where a process can be smarter, or where an idea is still too vague to really work.
Background
Writing, building, moderating and making AI practical.
I previously founded CopyRobin, where we spent years working on content, copy and AI-assisted workflows.
I am now co-founder of Scriptorium Initiative, where we work with communications leaders on what AI means for the communications profession.
Alongside that, I like staying in conversation with people who want to make, sharpen or better understand something.
